Kai Heartlife is a Filmmaker, Juggler, and Poet from Pacifica, California. In high school, she taught environmental education to over 13,000 elementary schoolers through Edutainment-based vaudeville shows, created informational videos for nonprofit organizations like the Human Rights Data Analysis Group, and volunteered with Youth Speaks and Bay Area Creative, two Bay Area Poetry and Spoken Word organizations bringing the love of creative writing to children and teens. Kai hopes to continue working as a film and television editor after graduating as a film production major from the UCLA School of Film, Television, and Theater.
